Hey guys this particular subject is about to get personal for me.
I can’t recall what I was doing, maybe I was listening to or reading something… it was a discussion on “Pro-life vs. Pro-choice.” I don’t know exactly, but all I can remember is that God reminded me how important my call was as a mother. The decision to be a mother starts in the womb, whether it’s planned by you or not. God knew every child before they were even thought of… however we are given a choice. Some of us are choosing to abort greatness because it’s inconvenient to our plan. Jesus wasn’t birthed into the ideal situation… thankfully an Angel was able to explain the situation to Mary and Joseph and they were obedient. Just imagine how that could have gone.
Jesus had a mother.
Jesus came into this world by a woman through birth.
Women have the ability (through the Holy Spirit) to birth greatness. [that’ll preach on a whole other level, but I’ll stay on topic tonight]
Had I known what I know now… I would have chose LIFE when I got pregnant back in college. Having a child before graduating from college was not in my plan. I said I wasn’t ready and I didn’t think things would go the way I wanted them to.
That doesn’t have to be the person who has been contemplating going through with the abortion, story… just because they give us the rights to do something doesn’t mean we should.
I know God dropped that in my spirit for a reason. I’m sharing this intimate part of my story in hopes that someone will read this and make the decision to CHOOSE LIFE…
Aren’t you glad mother Mary birthed our Savior.
